Mission Statement
	My goal is to provide training that gives you the basic skills and tools that, combined with practice, best prepare you to survive a deadly force incident with a minimum impact on your safety and well-being.

Instructor Experience

I am a certified Law Enforcement Firearm Instructor and have been a Reserve State Officer for 29 years. I was a State of Florida Hunter Education instructor from 1980 to 2000 teaching hunters from 14 to 82 years of age about firearms, firearm and hunting safety, marksmanship, survival and other skills for the outdoors. I have consulted for Theater productions about the use of firearms in a theater/stage environment and how to safely handle firearms and blank ammunition. I have shot multiple diciplines and competed in NRA Bullseye, Cowboy action matches. I am the primary Safety Officer and trainer for the Old West Reenactment group O.W.L.H.O.O.T.S.(Old West Living History Organization Of Travelling Shootists) AKA The Hole-in-the-Head Gang, performing for 13 years. I am a certified Gunsmith, Glock armorer and Leathersmith. I am still learning better ways to do all of the above and to train others in these same skills.

Concealed Firearm Training I teach a 6 to 8 hour course covering: revolvers and pistols, ammunition, carry options and holsters, how to safely handle handguns, handgun marksmanship, safety awareness, defensive mindset, concealed weapons laws (Florida CWP), concealed weapon deployment and useage and have a practical exercise to train you how to do all of the above. This is NOT the usual Concealed Weapons course you find at Gun Shows. My instruction is directed to provide you with the basic knowledge of skills you need to employ deadly force as a last resort to protect yourself, your family/friend(s) or others. My rates are: Personal, one-on-one Instruction (Maximum of 8 hours) $250; Group class $100 per student(class size limit 12 students). Old West Firearm Instruction

I teach a 4 hour classroom session that trains you in the basics you need to compete in Cowboy Action Shooting, then a 1 to 2 hour practical range session. I will train you how to safely handle and shoot single-action pistols, lever action rifles and double or pump-action shotguns. My experience in these kinds of firearms means I can cover Colt and Colt clone 1873 single-actions; Remington single-actions; Ruger Vaquero and Blackhawks; percussion revolvers (Colt and Remington); Winchesters Model 1873, 1892 and 1894 and Marlin lever-action rifles; Double barrel shotguns and 1897 Winchester pump shotguns. I cover equipment, marksmanship, gun handling, gun leather such as holsters and belts, ammunition and maintainence and care of your guns and leather so you can enjoy your experience again and again. A session of One-on-One Training is $50 per hour, two (2) hour minimum. Class for multiple students is $50 per student, maximum size of class 10 students. Firearm Consultation

SAFETY is my primary concern. My training and experience means that I can provide your Stage or Movie production with instruction and practical exercises geared to your specific needs. STAGE PERSONNEL can be trained in the safe handling of firearms and blank ammunition as well as the cleaning and maintainence of real and blank-shooting firearms. PERFORMERS and ACTORS can be instructed in the handling of period firearms and how to handle them to compliment the role they are portraying. I can work closely with the actor or director to get the most realistic effect for the play or event. Rates depend on the training required.
